Primary dental care involving the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a wide
variety of conditions. Focus is placed on the maintenance of good oral health.
|
|
This area of dentistry is preventative. By scheduling your dental cleanings and
exams every six months and following your dentist’s oral health recommendations
you can help prevent the development of serious dental problems that can require
more costly treatment.
|
|
If necessary, we may fix your next visit to a doctor specializing in disorders and
diseases affecting the teeth, gums and maxillofacial (the jaw and face) region.

General Consultation
|
|
Our philosophy is to spend as much time as necessary learning about every new patient's
oral health, prior to making treatment decisions. For more complex cases, a second
appointment is necessary to further discuss alternatives.
|
|
If this is done, treatment options and associated costs are clearly spelled out
before any treatment is started.
|
|
A dental ‘cleaning’ is typically not done at this initial visit. It is important
that we assess the current periodontal status in order to determine what type of
dental ‘cleaning’ is needed. In this way we can schedule the time that is needed
in order to provide for a proper cleaning.

We encourage you to involve yourself in your own treatment throughout our relationship.
We also would like to know from you what you desire from us as your dental care
provider. In our opinion, an informed and involved client is most likely to achieve
the highest level of health. We look forward to working with you to achieve this
goal. |
Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your initial
