What is a Complete Denture?

How Long They Should Be Used?
It all depends upon the requirement and your dentist will guide you about it. During first few days wear it most of the time, even while you sleep. After the initial adjustment remove it before going to bed. It is found that removing denture for at least eight hours allows the gum tissue to rest and promotes oral health.
Usually it is not advisable for tissues to be covered all the time with denture material.
As it causes continuous pressure on the ridge that results into loss of bone which will lead to loose fitting of denture.

How Many Visits are Required? RPD
Three to four visits are required depending upon number of teeth missing you may require more visits.

It is easiest and cheapest way of replacing missing teeth in order to restore the function of mouth. Only it does not give feeling of natural teeth and it is not that strong as bridge and implant.
