"Dr Ashok Dhoble, a recipient of National Talent Scholarship, secured
his Masters Degree in Orthodontics from Bombay University in 1985
and has been a part of the professional dental team at Global Dental Care which
he set up. A visiting Professor at Government Dental College and Hospital, Mumbai,
Dr Dhoble has been associated in various capacities as Hon. Consultant with Jaslok
Hospital & Research Centre, Mumbai, Hon. Research Orthodontist
in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Grant Medical College and as Advisor to
the Government of India, Department of Public Health & Medical Education and a nominated
Member to the Dental Council of India.
An ardent believer in Continuing Dental Education Programmes, he participates in
programmes aimed at enhancing knowledge and honing his skills. Dr Dhoble believes
in utilizing his professional and interpersonal communication skills to provide
efficient and effective dental care to ensure healthy and comfortable life. His
contributions to promotion of oral health have been outstanding."
He has been endowed with qualities of an able administrator and his work with IDA
spans for over 2 decades. During these times, he has had the privilege of working
in different capacities in the organization. He rose to the rank of Hon. Secretary
General of the Indian Dental Association.
